Pihl & Associates have filed a class action lawsuit against the drug makers, Merck Frost Canada and Procter & Gamble, over the osteoporosis drugs, Fosamax and Didrocal. The British Columbia Supreme Court action alleges that class members who have ingested these drugs may develop severe jaw problems including infections, abscesses and a serious bone condition known as "dead jaw". In addition to the allegation that the drugs in question are not safe for their intended use, the class action claims that these drug companies did not provide sufficient warnings to people ingesting the drugs or the BC medical community. Anyone who has taken these drugs and is suffering from the symptoms referred to above should contact Pihl & Associates to arrange an appointment to discuss a possible claim.
