JASROOP (JAS) S. GREWAL, B.A. (Psych.), LL.B

Jasroop was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia where he attended high school and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology) from the University of British Columbia.  He then went on to the University of Saskatchewan to obtain his Bachelor of Laws Degree, graduating in 2008.  After law school, Jasroop relocated to the Okanagan to complete his articling year with Pihl Law Corporation.  Jasroop was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2009, and has since gained trial experience at both the Supreme and Provincial Court levels.  Now an associate with Pihl Law Corporation, Jasroop has a varied civil litigation practice with a focus on personal injury law, family law and immigration law.

Jasroop is the current Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s Young Lawyers – Okanagan Section and is a board member, and youth council representative for the South Asian Family Association based out of Vancouver.  He previously served as President of the Punjabi Students Association at the University of Saskatchewan, as well as President of the Masala Club, a South Asian Students Association at the University of British Columbia. Jasroop is also currently involved with volunteering within Kelowna’s growing multicultural community.
