Pihl Law Corporation Golf Marathon in Support of Injury Prevention
A season of golf in a single fun-filled day.
On September 9, 2011, the annual Pihl Golf Marathon in support of Injury Prevention will take place at The Bear Golf Course. Up to 45 enthusiastic fundraising golfers will attempt to complete upwards of 100 holes of golf in one day. The event gets under way at dawn and ends at dusk. The golfers will enjoy the entire course to themselves, ensuring they will complete their efforts to drive, chase, chip, putt beat (and sometimes kick or throw) hundreds of golf balls around the course. Each golfer will enjoy the use of a power cart, be supplied with enough balls for the day, compete for fabulous prizes and enjoy wonderful food - and have a blast doing it!
In exchange for this spectacular day, we ask Golfers to fundraise to support our cause. All funds will be donated to our not-for-profit organization, BrainTrust Canada, and their brain injury education and prevention programs. This year the goal is to raise $80,000! All funds raised will stay in the Okanagan.
